Nearly a decade ago Rhonda and I decided to pack it up, move to Costa Rica and enjoy the Good Life. Retiring in Costa Rica represented everything we could want, and had felt was missing from our lives for a long time. We rediscovered the meaning of local beauty, peaceful serene villages and a revival of a simpler more gentle time.

We had visited Costa Rica once 10 years prior and like every other person who visits this country wanted to return. We did the research thing on the Internet, bought some books and did a lot of reading. Sure that we were ready, we jumped ship, sold our business, our home and headed for the hills and beaches of beautiful Costa Rica. Retiring in Costa Rica was our dream and it was coming true.

My wife, Rhonda and I moved to Costa Rica over eight years ago. We had talked about selling our printing business for years but we were simply stuck in a rut… scared to move and yet not able to get ahead. Just staying even.
